New Unfair Competition Lawsuit Filed on Behalf of Firm Clients

On the heels of the firm’s recent victory in Seyi-America, Inc. v. Stamtec, Inc., in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, we have filed suit in a new unfair competition case styled Costa, et al. v. Omni Stone Distributors, LLC, et al., in the Middle District.  The Complaint contains causes of action for violation of Admiralty and Maritime Law; the Lanham Act (federal trademark infringement); the Racketeer Influences and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO); the Tennessee Uniform Trade Secret Act; abuse of process; breach of contract; breach of fiduciary duties; conversion; tortious interference; civil conspiracy; replevin; constructive trust; and, accounting.
